Thank you for your interest in the The Villages Health COVID-19 Rapid Test program.

With support from Governor DeSantis and the State of Florida, The Villages Health is offering Abbott Lab's Rapid COVID-19 testing to the community at the locations noted below.

Abbott Lab tests involve the collection of specimen material via nasal swab and are FDA approved for use in determining the presence of COVID-19 -- with results available the same day.

There is no cost for this testing, and it is open to all members of the community.

Please note you will receive an email indicating your test result (positive or negative) within 24 hours of testing. While these messages accurately reflect your COVID test outcome and will contain your name, date of birth, and date your test was given, given the varied and changing nature of travel requirements, we cannot guarantee that tests received at our facility will meet any air, cruise, train, or other, travel requirements; nor are we able to adjust results messaging to respond to individual travel needs.

If you are interested in registering for testing, you will need to provide some basic demographic information as well as the contact information for your usual health provider/primary care doctor. Additionally, while you do not need to have COVID-19 symptoms to be tested under this program, you will need to answer some questions about whether or not you are currently experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.

Please note that testing supplies are limited. As a result, testing slots will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis each morning at 9am for all open testing slots available the following day (i.e. on Monday at 9am, all available testing slots for Tuesday will become available).
